Can 8900AX-2400 external antennae be removed?

Hi,

Simple question really: can the external antennae on the 8900AX-2400 be removed?

Since buying mine I've switched to a mesh network so no longer using the 8900AX's wi-fi... The side antennae can be folded neatly out of the way, but not the rears (at least with cables connected!)...so my wife complains it's unsightly! The don't look like they're removable, so I'm loathe to twist and break them...

(Obviously, if I'd had the mesh network one day one I'd have bought an 8900X and saved a chunk of cash)
