Playing videos through USB port
Can anyone help me please? Trying to play video files (1080p Bluray X265 HEVC 10bit AAC 7.1) on my USB stick through the BiPAC-8900AX2400 router to my Sony android TV's. Plugging the USB directly into both TV's allows the files to play. Whilst trying to play them through the router, they show up but come up with an error saying " Cannot play video". Replaced the router with my Vodafone issued one and they play okay on both TV's ??? Any help appreciated. Thanks

I don't think the DLNA server built into the 2400 supports it, will probably support avi files thoughBobBlair wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2019 4:14 pm Can anyone help me please? Thanks for the help. Do you know if there are any firmware updates coming that would correct this? Or does firmware not make any difference? Cheers Bob

Thanks for the quick reply. Connected up my old Asus and it works fine.

Regarding 1080p Bluray X265 HEVC 10bit AAC 7.1 we will check with Broadcom
