Changing SNR for **upstream**

Post by fiesata »

I've had my Billion 7800N for several years and wouldn't swap it (except for another Billion) :P

Just been transferred to Sky :o from the much missed BE the BEst broadband ISP IMHO :)

For some reason Sky has set my upload SNR to 9db which means my upload speed is slower than before - contacted support who said the Broadcom chipset doesn't like their DSLAM chipset blah blah

All I need to know is how to tweak the upload SNR (I know how to tweak Download SNR)

Also would having the router set to Annexe M (BE setting) make a difference to the upload sync in this case

Any answers would be much appreciated

Thanks

Can't be done I'm afraid.

I had some issues with Sky & upload but by raising it through the on-line system I was able to get some resolution.
