Changing SNR for **upstream**
Posted: Sat Apr 12, 2014 9:07 pm
I've had my Billion 7800N for several years and wouldn't swap it (except for another Billion)
Just been transferred to Sky
from the much missed BE the BEst broadband ISP IMHO
For some reason Sky has set my upload SNR to 9db which means my upload speed is slower than before - contacted support who said the Broadcom chipset doesn't like their DSLAM chipset blah blah
All I need to know is how to tweak the upload SNR (I know how to tweak Download SNR)
Also would having the router set to Annexe M (BE setting) make a difference to the upload sync in this case
Any answers would be much appreciated
Thanks
Paul
