7800N missing VPN menu

Post by nick123 »

Hi, I've had this router for a while and not needed the pptp function thus far, now I do and I've come to set it up and I find that the VPN menu is missing!

I see in all the instructional screenshots that there should be a VPN menu between Firewall and QoS. However I don't have one.

Is there something I need to enable somewhere else?

Hardware Version - Annex A
Software Version - 1.06g

Thanks,
nick

Maybe upgrading the firmware to 106.h which is the latest version will repair that for you.

Hmm, it's been part of the firmware since 1.06d apparently.

I will find a time over the weekend to try it I guess.

Can't seem to get the CAPTCHA to work on that link - keeps giving me that one of the fields is missing ?

You don't need to enter anything in the CAPTCHA Verification section, as this is only if you want to make a comment

See the attached screen shot, showing where you can download the firmware file.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
