Hi
I tweaked the SNR to just over 3 (3.1 I think?) but it has dropped down to 1.7, is the 7800N doing this or is it the line? Connection seems stable and I'm now getting over 5mbps where as before I was getting under 4mbps when the SNR was over 6.
It has happened a couple of times now, although the line seems stable I didn't know if it was better to keep it around 3 for stability?
Thanks.

Re: 7800N SNR
The 7800N will not automatically adjust the SNR, most likely it is the ISP or a line adjusting to the environment.jaknife wrote:Hi

Re: 7800N SNR
The SNRM can fluctuate throughout the day and tends to lower in the evenings.
It's nothing to worry about unless you start getting lag when you are browsing and then it could be due to an increase in noise on the line and a chat with your ISP may find a fault when they run a line test.

Great, thanks.
Seems stable so I will leave it.
