I have had a billion on 7800n for a long time and it has worked perfectly. I purchased a surface pro 2 and the WiFi is slow. I also have a talktalk super router and the WiFi for that is a lot quicker but as far as I am aware all the settings are the same. The 5ghz is disabled on the talktalk router. I have spoken to Microsoft and they say it might be a problem with the billion . I wonder what if anything would be affecting the speed. Could it be the billion I suspect not but you never know. And I must also say that I have an old eeepc and that is faster than the surface pro 2 when connecting to the billion.

Any help appreciated
Thanks Dan
So the issue is isolated to the surface pro 2 only?? All other wireless devices are the normal speeds?
Have you tried to for a test, to disable the WPA security, reconnect your surface pro 2, and test the wireless speeds, this way we know if the security mode is effecting the connectivity with the surface pro 2.

Also try changing the 'Channel Width' to '20mhz' to see if that helps
