7800N - port 443 left open?

Post by slipd83 »

Hi guys,

I haven't check my ports lately but today I did and I failed a port scan (https://www.grc.com/) because port 443 was open? I don't remember changing anything since the last time I ran the scan and that time it passed :(

Any ideas?

Try and disable the UPNP, restart the router and run another port scan. (I assume a device on your network is opening port 443 using UPNP or if a virtual server rule has been added)

Ah, I assumed that was what it was! I use remote access/web access now compared to last time.

I've tried the scan without rebooting the router (settings disabled) but I'm happy now if I know that's why its open ;)

Thanks.
