Have you tried using WEP security?? Have you checked to see if there are any driver updates for your device??jimmyr wrote:Win 7

There are no reported issues with using security on the Bipac 7800N.

Plugged old modem\router in and working, so it must be something to do with the 7800N, but what.

What type of encryption is your old router using??jimmyr wrote:Plugged old modem\router in and working, so it must be something to do with the 7800N, but what.
When you setup WEP on the billion did you change the 'WEP Authentication' to 'Open System', use select Key 1, and enter in the Key 1 section a password of your choice 10 Hex codes, (0~9, a~f, A~F). Eg. 11aa22cc33.

Re: cannot connect wifi with security enabled (7800n)
It is using " WPA2-PSK [AES] " and has same password as the one i set 7800N to, when i got it about 2 months ago, it (7800N) works fine with internal wifi card but for some reason wont work with the external GSKY.
