Re: Bipac 8200AXL/8206AZ Firmware + Guides + Maunals
When will there be firmware for Manual Band Selection.
We have a problematic band 41 which we need to disable. Then it should Aggregate with 3 or all of the following. B1, B3, B8, B20 and B38
Band 41 was a temporary band used by our countries ISP's during covid. The regulator already gave orders to shut down band 41 which will be replaced with band 20 and Band 38
We already have b1, b3 and b8 active on the one provider
On the other provider we have - B1, B3, B40 active. and soon to be active - B20
*Not including frequencies used for 5G

Re: Bipac 8200AXL/8206AZ Firmware + Guides + Maunals
Hi
Any update regarding this matter?
Also when trying to do Firmware upgrade on my router it states file format error. I tried using the .afw and also adding it to archive to .zip
Neither one works and just fails and reboots
referring to current .afw firmware available on site

Attached is the latest firmware with band selections, once you fix the mode to 'LTE Only' the band selection option will appear, attached is a screen shot exampleEagle2k wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 10:31 am Hi

If this firmware also fails (incorrect file error) make sure your model is the Bipac 8206AZ, if a ISP has provided you with the router, they might have locked the firmware, which you will then have to contact them for fw updates. (I had no issues upgrading to this firmware on a UK version of 8206AZ CAT 6)
