Can anyone please help with trying to get Apple TV 3rd Gen to work with my Billion 7800N, it might see it after rebooting the router and the Apple TV many times but more often than not it won't see it.
I also have similar issues with my Chromecast so that's why I am thinking it's router related. I have the Apple TV connected through powerline adapters but doesn't work if it is a wifi connection either.
Maybe it's time to upgrade the 7800N?
Thanks.

Re: 7800N and Apple TV
Have you tried to setup a fixed host rule for your apple tv, to see if that helps??
Regarding a wireless connection to your apple tv have you tried to enable 'Wireless Multicast Forwarding'
Also have you tried to enable 'IGMP Proxy and IGMP Snooping' found under 'Advanced >> Configuration >> Advanced >> IGMP'

I got it working through port mapping, connects every time now.

Maybe you can share a screen grab of the rule you added (for others that might run into the same issue)jaknife wrote:I got it working through port mapping, connects every time now.
