FTP port moved - access problems

Hi,

I have just changed my router from the older 7402 to the new 8800. I use it a lot for external, I have put in all my port forwards (virtual server) but as I put in one with port 21 I got a message

'Since port 21 is used, the Router FTP server port will be moved to 2121'

All my other port forwards work but anything requiring ftp port 21 doesn't work. I have deleted the forward that had 21 but I believe the router is now set to 2121 for ftp. Can I change the router's ftp port back to 21?

Have done a port scan from my mac and it doesn't show port 21 as open

Does anyone know how to make sure port 21 is open
