Web access control - does it work?
I set Web Access to a particular IP address for my 7800N but was still able to access the config pages via the Admin login - does Web access control actually work?

Re: Web access control - does it work?
Hi
I just tested the feature and it does work.
Web access control is a feature to limit by IP, the computers that can access the web configuration internally/locally.
So on my setup I first enter the IP address of the computer I want to have access to the router web gui page. Then I click on 'Add'.
The IP address will then show under 'Allowed Access IP', finally I enable 'Web Access Control' and click on 'Apply' from then on only the IP address in the 'Allowed Access IP' list is allowed access to the web gui.
Tested on firmware 1.06f.dc1.
