Best Wireless Extender with 7800n?

Guys,
can you please help me find a completely wireless extender, one that works, or help with the below??

I have already purchased the tp-link 901 (latest fw) access point but the connection keeps dropping and all devices try and pick up the weaker Billion 7800n (latest fw UK) signal placed 2 rooms down. I have to restart the tp-link access point every few hours! I currently have the tp-link on universal repeater mode.

Does anyone know to setup the WDS mode on the 7800n with any other non Billion devices?

ps. I dont want to run any cables.

many thanks!
KaBoom

Here is a link to the WDS setup with our wireless extender model (Bipac 7800N >> WDS >> Bipac 3100SN)

http://www.billion.uk.com/esupport/inde ... /305/3/nsn

You can follow the Bipac 7800N setup, and try to match the channel, security type and security password (which is a must for WDS)

Other then that, I can not advise on the TP-Link setup.

Thanks

Hi KaBoom ,
Just seen your post , having recently upgraded to the 7800n , which is brilliant , I use a Sitecom WL-330 set as a wireless extender, it has a LAN port to set it up but once done is COMPLETELY wireless , apart from the power supply.I have it set up using a fixed IP address NOT using WDS ( this halves the wireless through put - beware )

It connected flawlessly to the 7800n and works great , I have it out in the greenhouse in the garden to give me better coverage outside , and so far seems great, perfect signal and the 7800n seems to talk to it perfectly.

Got it from Ebay for 25 quid

Here is a google review for it : http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalo ... CDYQ8wIwAw

Hope this helps you , or anyone wondering ;)

Dave.
