I have a PTZ security camera in my business, some times i need to reboot/adjust the router (Billion 7800n) on my old netgear router it gave me the address to log into but it seems its not quite that simple with the 7800N.
I have looked at the remote access tab, but am a bit confused, what ip range am i inputting, that of my home router? (also Billion 7800N) also read i've think that i need to add mac address, is this correct?
I see there is also a tab for pptp but does this need the works PC to be switched on? Its usually switched off.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Re: Remote Connecting to works PC
Enable remote access as shown in the attached screen shot, no need to enter a IP address or a MAC address.
Once done, you will need to find out your WAN IP address, this IP address will be used to connect to your router from a remote location.
You can find your WAN IP address on the 'Status' page of the router, or go to http://www.whatsmyip.org/ and your WAN IP address will be listed at the top of the page.
I hope this helps
