After a recent O2 mast upgrade we now have 4G in the village where I live. I have a 7800x modem (running 2.32e firmware) and I'm wondering if hooking up a 4G modem would get us some better speeds (broadband is very slow in the village). My guess is that it wouldn't be practically affordable for day to day use, but maybe for when we lose regular broadband (happens all too often).
Is there a list of compatible modems for the 7800x anyhwere? especially any with an external antenna as I can only get 4G outside the house.
