Should I upgrade 8800NL Version?

Post by pintosal »

Currently my 8800NL is running software version 2.32d.dh61

I see that there is a newer version 2.32e

I can't see from the change log what is the difference between the versions.

Bottom line is - should I upgrade?

The old saying of "if is not broken don't fix it" comes to mind

(you can always upgrade/downgrade the firmware as you wish, we allow downgrades, not like apple etc)

Thanks.

I can see where to download the latest software, but is there a page where I can find/download earlier versions?

Download 2.32d.dh65, dh61 was pulled because of issues with Sky users, dh65 is one that you should be using.

You can download the firmware on the attached link

You don't rate 2.32e then Billion_Fan?

I was using 2.32e at home (when I was using the 7800DXL, I'm now using the Bipac 8900-2400), if I had any issues with it I wouldn't of used it.

2.32e is the latest firmware, and has lots of bug fixes. (you can check the release notes for the firmware)
